before your neurotoxin appointment

Neurotoxin can take up to 2 weeks to reach its full effect. Please be aware of this when scheduling around a major function.

Bruising can happen with neurotoxin treatments! Even though less severe than with filler treatments, we are still using a needle! Bruising can happen. Prepare for success by limiting alcohol consumption and avoiding NSAIDS (Ibuprofen, Advil, Aleve, Aspirin, etc) prior to your appointment.

Touch-ups may be necessary to achieve optimal results. Touch-ups are performed at the discretion of the provider after the 2-week window in which the neurotoxin takes to activate. At this point, you have ONE WEEK to come in for a touch up.

The number of units used to achieve your optimal result should be determined by your provider. To under-treat may result in less than optimal outcomes. To achieve the desired longevity, appropriate dosing is important.

You must remain upright, avoid strenuous activity, and avoid manipulation of the face for at least 4 hours after your treatment. (No hats, no working out, no applying makeup, etc.)
